iPhone – It was introduced on 2007 and has 3 models depending upon the capacity, that are 4, 8 and 16 GB respectively. The model number of this series is A1203.
iPhone 3G – It was introduced on 2008. It has 2 capacities of 8 and 16 GB. Model numbers on the backside of these models are A1324 and A1241.
iPhone 3GS – It was introduced on 2009. It consists of three models according to capacities 8, 16 and 32 GB. It is available in two colours, black and white. The model number of this iPhone series are A1325 and A1303.
iPhone 4 – The GSM model of this iPhone was released on 2010 and CDMA model was released on 2011. Even it has models according to three capacities 8, 16 and 32 GB. It has two colours, black and white. The model numbers of these iPhones are A1349 and A1332.
iPhone 4s – It was introduced on 2011. It is the first iPhone to have four capacities including 8, 16, 32, and 64 GB. It has two colour distinctions, black and white. This model comes with three different model numbers according to the colours and capacities that are, A1431, A1387 and A1387.
iPhone 5 – it was introduced on 2012 and has three different capacities 16, 32, and 64Gb where 8GB was completely discarded by the Apple Inc. Even it comes in two colours black and white. Model numbers present on the back of these iPhones are A1428, A1429 and A1442 respectively.
iPhone 5c – It was introduced on 2013. It consists three capacities 8, 16, and 32 GB as usual. But the unique feature of this series is, it is the first iPhone series to be available in five different colours including White, blue, pink, green and yellow. It is the only iPhone series to have a polycarbonate body. Model numbers of this series are A1507, A1456A, 1516, A1529 and A1532 according to different colours.
iPhone 5s – It was introduced on 2013 and it was available in three different capacities 16, 32 and 64 GB as different iPhone series. This series was launched with three new premium colours namely Space Grey, Silver and Gold. Model numbers of this series are A1457, A1453, A1518, A1528, A1530 and A1533.
iPhone 6 and 6 Plus – They were introduced on 2014. iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch screen and iPhone 6s has an 5.5-inch screen. They were available in the Space grey, Silver and Gold. Model numbers of this series consist of iPhone 6: A1586, A1549, A1589 along with iPhone 6 Plus: A1524, A1522 and A1593.
iPhone 6s and 6s Plus – They were introduced 2015. They were available in 16, 64 and new 128GB model. They are available in three colours space grey, silver and gold. Model numbers of iPhone 6s: A1688, A1633, A1700 and of iPhone 6s Plus: A1634, A1687 and A1699 respectively.
iPhone SE – It was introduced on 2016. It has only two capacities 16 ad 64 GB. It is available in Space grey, silver, gold and all new rose gold colours. Model numbers are A1723, A1662 and A1724.
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus – It is the latest iPhone which was introduced on 2016. They are available in three new capacities of 32, 128 and 256 GB. They are available in gold, silver, rose gold and all new matte black and jet black colors. Model numbers of new iPhone 7: A1660, A1778, A1779 and of iPhone 7 Plus: A1661, A1784 and A1785.
